Mattel set out to position UNO as a natural part of Diwali celebrations for South Asian families in Canada, without relying on stereotypical holiday imagery or forced product placement. Built around beloved creator Babbulicious and his fan-favourite characters Rajan and Bibi, the campaign reflected the humour, warmth, and family dynamics that define festive gatherings.

Through five short-form episodes released across Diwali, Halloween, Christmas, and New Year, UNO appeared as a catalyst for connection rather than the centre of attention. The campaign recognized the dual reality of South Asian Canadians: celebrating both cultural and mainstream holidays with family and friends.

By combining authentic storytelling, trusted talent, and culturally relevant insights, UNO embedded itself into meaningful family moments throughout the festive season.
