For newcomers to the Greater Golden Horseshoe region, reliable transportation is essential for exploring their new home, connecting with their new community, integrating into everyday life and building a sense of belonging. The GO Transit brand understood this human truth and launched the “Discover the Journey” campaign to showcase how its services support newcomers as they settle into their new lives.

The campaign featured two hero films that connected deeply with immigrant experiences. One followed a family’s trip to Niagara Falls, a must-see for newcomers, while the other showcased a commuter’s late-night journey home. These stories highlighted GO Transit’s key benefits, such as One Fare, free travel for kids, and various passes and discounts, all designed to make transit easier, faster, and more affordable. With an integrated media approach that reached diverse communities, GO Transit demonstrated how its services help newcomers confidently navigate and embrace their new lives.
